Tap into your instincts to create imaginative and unexpected drawings. This 2-day workshop invites
participants to step beyond traditional techniques, embracing spontaneity and self-expression as they
discover new drawing vocabularies and connect with their inner creative voice.
Through playful mark-making and exploration, you’ll learn to loosen your hand, let go of expectations
and discover imagery in the act of drawing itself.
Tyler will guide you with one-on-one feedback,
demonstrate his own approach and reveal discoveries he’s made with the intuitive process.
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, this workshop will help you unlock new
possibilities and bring fresh energy to your practice.
Day 1:
The workshop kicks off with learning about Tyler‘s own insights into the intuitive process, with tips and
tricks he’s discovered along the way, followed by a hands-on session where participants begin their first
intuitive drawing on paper. After lunch, Tyler will demonstrate his technique for drawing on canvas, and
participants will then begin their own canvas drawings.
Day 2:
Building on the momentum from Day 1, participants will continue to develop their intuitive drawings on
paper, discovering imagery from their work the day before. After lunch, Tyler will guide the group
through the process of prepping their canvas drawings for paint. Participants will then have the
opportunity to develop their canvas drawing, with one-on-one feedback from Tyler.
