Each week, students will express themselves in the kitchen while discovering how cultures around the globe explore and enjoy food. We’ll start with essential kitchen skills—like using tools safely, measuring accurately, reading recipes, and understanding basic food science.
Throughout the course, students will perfect appetizers from Italy, desserts from Thailand, main dishes from Mexico, and more! They’ll experiment with flavors, seasonings, and baking techniques, expanding their culinary creativity with each dish.
Older students will also have opportunities to guide younger classmates, fostering collaboration and leadership in the kitchen. This class welcomes all curious and passionate young chefs!
Ingredients will be organic or non-GMO whenever possible, and food dyes will be avoided. Allergies noted at enrollment will be accommodated.
