The Great Thinkers: Exploration of the Most Influential Philosophers, Thinkers, and Inventors from Around the World
Step into the minds of history’s greatest thinkers! In this exciting and interactive class, students will explore the lives and ideas of remarkable philosophers, inventors, and visionaries who shaped the world we live in today. Each week, we’ll dive into a different “great thinker” — from Socrates and Plato to Leonardo da Vinci, Marie Curie, Nikola Tesla, and beyond — discovering what made their ideas revolutionary and how their creativity continues to inspire us.
Through hands-on activities, experiments, creative projects, and class discussions, students will not only learn about these figures but also think like them — questioning, inventing, and imagining new possibilities. By the end of the course, students will understand how great ideas change the world and how their own ideas can too!
This class is not religious in nature and will specifically avoid religious thinkers and topics.
