Leadership & Life Skills
Wednesday Classes | Available (Membership Required)
Prepare for a fun and interesting trip to becoming a leader! Students will learn ways to be an effective leader and how to support the leaders in their life. Our class will focus collaboration, teamwork, and communication to bring out the best in their teams and of course, themselves.
Each student will be called on to look within themselves to find ways to bring the strengths they have while fostering growth in their peers. Sympathy and Empathy will help students build fantastic teams, solve problems, and play games. The challenges will include things like, creating advertisement for a product, prepare a small speech, coach a team, build a "how-to" plan, design an activity/game and explain the rules, and so much more. Kids will have so much fun that they won't realize that they are developing important life skills and growing as leaders!
Forged and Tempered classes are always interactive and largely favor outdoor activities. While much of this class will be indoor, students should be prepared for outdoor weather during all seasons.
