Join Garrett for a museum visit at the MFA touring specific paintings. The "cost" includes your entry ticket to the museum. You can meet us there at the predetermined time. Don't be late!

There is a lecture to watch in advance (you can attend on June 5th after class or you can watch the recording). 

Vitanza, Garrett
Garrett Vitanza

Garrett Vitanza was born and raised in central New Jersey. He enrolled in summer classes at ARA Toronto in 2002 while in high school. After graduation he enrolled in the full time atelier program, completing his studies in 2007. Garrett moved to Boston to continue his education at Tufts University/S.M.F.A. in 2009 and began teaching at the ARA Boston the same year. Garrett was named principal instructor in 2013 and oversees the core curriculum as well as the figurative program. Garrett has extensively researched art history and historical methods of painting and offers workshops, private instruction, and continuing educational classes on these subjects. Garrett is currently working on a series of paintings that reflect on : Homosexuality, Race, and existentialism.
