The Starving Artist Myth: Financial Discussions for Creatives
Part 1: Building a Sustainable Creative Life

Creatives and artists are not always known for their smart financial decisions or organization. However, the starving artist trope doesn’t have to be a reality. In this discussion, we will have a lively conversation with Bernadette Krueger ChFC, LUTCF, CLTC, Senior Financial Services Executive at Krueger Financial Group. Bernadette knows what it’s like trying to make ends meet and dealing with debt starting her career as a single mother. By harnessing logic and understanding of financial planning, Bernadette was able to go from rags to riches and then spent her career helping others to gain financial freedom. It’s a lot easier to be creative when you’re feeling more comfortable about your financial plan!

Julie Beck will lead the discussion with Bernadette over Zoom. Live questions are encouraged and will be addressed during the class/ The discussion will be recorded. If you have questions to submit in advance, there will be an option will you are registering to submit those.

Please note: This is part of a 2 part seminar discussing financial concerns for artists and creatives. Part 1 is discussing financial planning and the questions that come for creatives when it comes to retirement, investing, etc.
