Digital Photography for Beginners
Adult (Ages 16+) | Available (Membership Required)
Move off the “auto” setting and learn what your digital camera can do! Explore your camera's features and menus and gain an overview of the basic elements of photography, including shutter speed, ISO, aperture, and more. After learning the basics, we'll build on these skills by adding lighting, composition, focus, color, and how to capture various subjects, including photography in public. From discussions and practice in class to translating your skills into the world through assignments, you'll walk away from this class feeling more confident in your camera and what it can do! Please bring your camera to each class (it must be a DSLR or Mirrorless Camera that has a manual mode that allows adjustments of both shutter speed and aperture settings).
