Studies in Gouache

Adult (Ages 16+) | Registration opens 2/4/2026 10:00 AM

Working from observation, and using the medium of gouache (opaque watercolor), we'll go through the process of playing with composition and paint.  We will work on two small studies over three sessions:  set up still lifes, determine composition through thumbnail sketches, mix color, and paint with this versatile medium on panels that allows for multiple layers. All levels welcome.

Bring your watercolor brushes (i.e. synthetic rounds, small ( size 2 or 4) and medium (6 or 8), a white palette, sketching paper and a pencil.  Paint and panels will be provided by the instructor.
