Art Explorers: Winter Magic (Gr K-2)

Art Explorers: Winter Magic will make winter come alive with fun projects that help you learn about drawing, beginning perspective, painting, and sculpture. We use a variety of materials ranging from clay and mixed media to pastel. Explore texture through printmaking and collage. Visits to our onsite galleries also helps us to investigate the materials and techniques that other artists use in their work.

Pamela Shanley is an artist and teacher with a special gift for engaging children and teens in art-making of all kinds. Pam holds a BFA from Connecticut College, and her artwork has been exhibited and collected in private collections in California, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
