Sketchbooking for the Fearless Artist
Adult (Ages 16+) | Registration opens 11/5/2025 10:00 AM
This mixed-media class is all about exploration, play, and letting go of perfectionism. Each week, we'll learn with a new material or technique (watercolor, ink, collage, and more) while filling the pages of your own mixed media sketchbook. Students will be encouraged to make BAD art (and fall in love with the process) while discovering that mistakes, messiness, and spontaneity are all part of growing as an artist. Whether you’re brand new to sketchbooking or a seasoned creative looking to break free of “rules,” this low-pressure, high-fun course will help you build confidence, spark inspiration, and develop a sketchbook practice that truly reflects YOU. You’ll walk away with a vibrant and experimental sketchbook full of explorations, ideas, and creative discoveries—and the freedom to keep creating without fear. Tuition includes sketchbooks and specialty supplies.
