Create a one-of-a-kind decor piece for your home using a combination of wheel-throwing and handbuilding. This hanging shelf is simple to construct, and stunning when used to display your favorite memories, souvenirs, and tchotchkes. Some wheel-throwing experience is helpful, but not required.

Samantha McLelland is a ceramist, illustrator, and teacher. She illustrated the book Rosie's Garden, written by Olivia Coates and published in 2025; she has also participated in many local pottery shows, and was selected for the 2025 Pottery Makers Illustrated Reader Submission Contest.
