Week 9: 8/18 - 8/22 

Jungle Safari
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am- 4:15 pm

From ancient cave paintings to modern landscape watercolors, artists have always been influenced by the natural world. This week, we’ll journey into the wild! From the great plains of Africa to the dense jungles of Asia, we will be learning about all kinds of plants and animals, big and small, that call the Earth their home. This program features time in ACA’s ceramics studio.

Arlington Center for the Arts welcomes our VAC campers into our ceramics studio during our final two weeks of camp. We are leaving our St. Paul’s location at the end of week 8 to spend weeks 9 and 10 at our art center at 20 Academy Street! Your camper will not only have access to our ceramics studio each day, but they will have the opportunity to use our other studios designed for a wide variety of mediums.

No Extended day for weeks 9 and 10

  • ACA camp registrations are considered incomplete until your camper's Required Camp Form has been submitted. Please complete this paperwork ASAP to reserve your camper's spot. For returning campers, we require a new set of forms each calendar year. 


    Important Note: All required paperwork (as mandated by ACA's camp license) must be submitted 2 weeks or more before the start of the program for which your camper is enrolled. Failure to submit the required camp paperwork before the 2-week deadline will automatically trigger the cancellation of your registration and forfeit of tuition paid as outlined in our standard camp cancellation policy. No refunds or credits will be given in these circumstances.

    Updated Camp Cancellation Policy:


    • A $50 processing fee applies to all cancellations

    • *four weeks or more before camp week begins: full

    refund less cancellation fee

    • *less than four weeks before camp begins: no refund
