Intro to Costume Design
In-Person: Teen | Available
This class is meant to teach students the basics of costume design through lectures and practical demos, working with both sewing and EVA foam. Students will also be able to bring in their projects for workshop days to have help from the instructor. Alongside learning topics such as how to choose materials and develop/source patterns (drafting a costume) for a build, we will also go over issues in sustainability and how to ethically source materials and discuss costuming in the competitive world.
