This four week class focuses on constructing small ceramic pendants and earrings for jewelry making. During this class we will use clay and nichrome wire to create interesting and functional pieces, which students are able to decorate using slip trailing, underglaze, and a variety of glazes. Students are encouraged to experiment with sculptural techniques, scale, and molds in order to create multiple pieces or a matching set. This class is open to all skill levels, leaning towards a fun and experimental environment.
