Have you always wanted to draw people?  Learn the proportions of men, women, children, and teens.  We will start with the basic figure and then learn to capture the unique characteristics of people of differing ages and ethnicities.  Special emphasis will be given to the face and head as well as capturing likeness.  Clothing is an important part of defining people.  Learn to draw realistic clothing and how it fits on the body.  We will use many references from artwork to photographs to study humans in motion as well as at rest.  Bring a pencil, paper or sketchbook, a good eraser and your love of drawing!  Other materials will be discussed at the first class.
