Art teachers say, “Push your work,” go further. Here is the chance to push into a new genre, technique and/or subject matter; to mix words, newsprint, paint and collage; to do the unanticipated. What do you want to say as an artist?  Get your art to talk. Are you reacting to current history, music, noise? The seasons? The moment? The archipelago of memory? Meetings start with free writing and mark-making, then discussion and delving deeper with our tools. Bring journals, works in progress, photos, and a few word prompts. Watercolors, acrylics, ephemera, whatever media grabs you, bring. This is our ninth year, always different.
