From fur to scales to talons, there are a wide variety of textures in the animal kingdom, making for a unique challenge in one’s art. Whether you love all animals or just your pet, this class is a great way to expand one’s drawing techniques while gaining appreciation for the fauna around us. This class breaks down the art of drawing animals into easy concepts for the beginner to more experienced artists to follow. Weekly lectures include history of Animals in Art as well as one concept a week to help you learn to capture your backyard bird or friend sitting at your feet into a work of art. You will have weekly drawing assessments to help guide you both with and without the class. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow as an artist in the comfort of your own home. This class is open to beginners as well as more advanced students.
