Felting Little Animals (In-person)
In-Person: Adult | This program is completed
1 Tuesday, 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Make little treasures while learning an environmentally sustainable art form: felting! In this workshop, we will explore techniques for dry needle felting in a relaxed environment. Students will leave class with a small creature (or two) and the knowledge to continue expanding their exploration in the medium. This is a fantastic workshop for anyone looking for a fun activity with minimal artistic pressure. The medium is great for those comfortable in the visual arts as well as those looking to try something new!

Abby Cali
Abby Cali (she/hers) is an artist and educator based in Cambridge, MA. She grew up in Arlington and has her MFA in illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Before coming back to the Boston area, she was the education program coordinator at Zygote Press printmaking studio in Cleveland, OH. Abby is dedicated to collaborative art processes that celebrate the wonderful weirdness of our wacky world and that also advance positive social + environmental impacts. She works primarily in soft sculpture (through needle felting and sewing) and in animation (both stop motion and digital 2D). When she's not making art or teaching art, she can be found playing cooperative board games, cooking up a storm, or hanging out with her toothless cat.
