Like to make prints but don’t know where to start? In this workshop series, each week we will learn a new & easy to do printmaking technique. Don’t worry, the materials for online workshops will be easy to find! Here are a few of the techniques we will be playing with: monoprints, transfer printing, textured collographs and freestyle stencil/ silkscreen. This class is for grades K though 2; contact program manager Cat Beaudoin (cat@acarts.org) with requests for registrations that fall outside those parameters.

  • Email our Education & Programs Manager, Cat Beaudoin at cat@acarts.org with any specific programming questions as well as necessary modifications or accommodations.
  • Supplies for Week 1
  • - White paper: drawing paper & copy paper
  • - Pencil
  • - FLAT Textures scraps: netting, fabric, bubble wrap, anything you might
  • toss would work if it has a texture and is flat or 2d
  • - Paint or printing ink if you have it
  • - White glue not glue stick
  • - Brush for painting
  • - Flat non porous surface to work on: plexi glass or a sheet of glass or table top that can be washed For the first class, use this materials list. Project and supply list be emailed at the end of each class for the following week. All supplies will be affordable, flexible and easy to find.
