Experience the pleasure of creating in this relaxed, supportive class. Weekly projects will help you to develop your observation skills and the ability to visually express what you see. Utilize various drawing materials to explore elements in the art toolbox: line, value, shape, space, texture, and color.

Want to create an abstract piece of art but have no idea how to begin? Come join this class! You won’t have to throw paint on the canvas or blindfold yourself to begin the creation - unless you want to! There actually are methods to creating abstract compositions and we will explore them, one week at a time. We work in a very relaxed atmosphere, so if you are curious about the process of creating an abstract piece of artwork and want to explore the “how to’s”, please come!

Veteran artists as well as newly minted artists are always welcome.
