Yupo Watercolor Exploration

Adult Workshop (Age 16+) | This program is completed

Saturday, 6/1, 1:00 - 4:00 pm

YUPO Synthetic Paper is a 100% recyclable, waterproof and tree-free surface that offers exciting, playful opportunities to painters. In this one day workshop we will use a variety of materials and techniques to produce spontaneous, colorful Yupo watercolor paintings.

This is a very loose and creative painting experience that offers the opportunity for beginners to create beautiful paintings, and for more experienced painters to loosen up and let go. There will be a still life set up and many reference photos to stimulate your imagination, or you can explore an abstract approach and just enjoy the paint.

Students at all levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced painters. Session will begin with a demonstration and introduction to materials, followed by ample time for students to create their own Yupo paintings.

  • Bring your tube watercolors, large and small soft brushes, and an open mind for a unique painting experience. Yupo paper and other materials will be provided. (Paints and brushes will be provided if needed.)
