Yupo Watercolor Exploration
Adult Workshop (Age 16+) | This program has been canceled
Saturday, 4/14, 1:00 - 4:00 pm
In this workshop we will explore a variety of techniques and painting materials on Yupo. Yupo is a non-absorbent, paper-free surface that produces vibrant and exciting results. Come explore the possibilities for expanding your Yupo practice, or jump in for the first time. Some painting experience is desirable, but not necessary. Fun guaranteed.
- Gwen will supply Yupo paper, alcohol inks, crayons, and other random materials that you are welcome to use.
- Please bring the following:
- - Tube watercolors in rich, transparent colors
- - Large, soft watercolor brushes if you have them.
- - Water containers: Please bring 2 large water containers, e.g. quart size yogurt tubs, or large takeout soup containers.
- - Plastic sheet: Please bring a plastic table cloth or shower curtain to cover your work space. Yupo can be messy!
- - Hair dryer: If you have a small hair dryer that you don’t mind sharing, please bring it along.
- - Waterproof pens such as microns. Gwen will have some for those who don’t have their own.
