Young Artists Club: Modern Art Adventure

In-Person: Kids | This program is completed

8 Saturdays, 10:00-12:00 pm

Get inspired by famous artists who worked during the late eighteenth century through early the late twentieth nineteenth century: Picasso, Matisse, Monet, Seurat, Miró, Klimt and Kandinsky. Paint whimsical abstracts inspired by Wassily Kandinsly and Joan Miró, and drip paint like Jackson Pollack. Create collages using paper as did Matisse and make artwork inspired by impressionist painters like Claude Monet and Vincent Van Gogh and dot paintings like Georges Seurat. Learn a bit of art history each week as we will focus on one artist, see images of their work, and create art inspired by that artist’s style.
