Shibori Workshop - Section Two

Adult Workshop (Age 16+) | This program is completed

Saturday, 12/2, 1:00 - 5:00 pm

Shibori, the elegant forbearer to psychedelic tie-dye, is a Japanese resist dyeing technique that is simple enough to do in your backyard but is vast with possibilities. You will learn six traditional techniques to bind, fold, stitch, twist or compress fabric and indigo dye to achieve the distinctive geometric, organic look of shibori. Students will make six tea towels and a scarf to take home!
