Color Study

6 Fridays, 12:00-2:30 pm
Begin or deepen your understanding and exploration of color in this hue enhancing class! Students will have an option of working with acrylic paints, watercolors and/or pastels, while studying and applying color theory and combination throughout the mediums.
Luba Shapiro Grenader
Luba holds an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and BFA from the Art Institute of Boston. Her primary work consists of mixed-media figurative drawings and small installations, incorporating various found fibers, papers and wood. In her work, she explores such themes as politics of motherhood, women and war, and currently, the gender and nationality-based oppression she experienced growing up under Soviet regime in Russia. Her work has been a part of various shows, locally and nationally. She has also been a part of the Mixed Media and Mothers/Artists Collectives.
