In this class you will be painting small heads from the masters in gouache. Painting from the masters is an instrumental tool for learning. In this class we will pick a few illustrators and artists to emulate. Each one possess certain qualities that will help cultivate your design skills, color harmonies, edge manipulation and much more. Focus will be placed on correct color and value, understanding basic tiling techniques and exploring other gouache painting techniques. Students should choose a palette appropriate for their level, Monochrome, Zorn or Primary Warm/Cool palette.
