Painting Masterful Hands in Oil

Rendering and indication of the hands could be one of the most daunting challenges facing the figurative painter. Exercises include redesigning poor reference into dynamic hands, work on indication as well as rendering of the hands. This class will include work from the model, master painters and photo reference. Be prepared to work in this class as the hands offer endless opportunity to further your figurative work.
Weekly Breakdown:
Week 1: Demo from photo and master painting.
Week 2: Students will work from a master painting.
Week 3: Students will work from photos.
Week 4: Students will work from photos.
Week 5: Working from a live model.
