Gouache Landscape Masterstudies: Thumbnails

Over the course of five weeks students will do gouache masterstudies to learn color, value hierarchy, composition, mark making, and simplification. Students will learn to simplify many different elements of the landscape and learn how masters saw the relationships of color, value, shape, and temperature. Each week there will be a demo of a different master and subject matter. This class is intended to make color less intimidating and bring elements of master works into your own landscape studies.
- This class will use Gouache Painting materials. A Warm/Cool Palette is recommended.
