20m Figure Layins

Lay-ins are the first 20 minutes of a drawing. A lay-in represents the initial plan over which the rendering will be placed. Without a good lay-in a great finish is impossible. Students will concentrate on drawing 20 minute figure lay-ins as we work on concepts such as the abstraction, edge mapping and dynamics. Great fundamental class. Beneficial to all levels.

Travis Wilson
Travis Wilson moved to California to attend Watts Atelier at the beginning of 2018, studying with the Online Program before that. For the past five years he has worked towards his goal of teaching and working as a professional artist. On top of being a student and now a teacher, Travis also assists in running the behind the scenes of the Atelier.
