Drawing from the Masters

Painting from the masters is a timeless tradition in learning the ropes of art. Focus will be placed on painting images in oil. References of master paintings will be provided for students or your own study material is okay to use with instructor approval. Works will be done with oil paints with an emphasis in attempting to work the image up freehand without any tracing/transferring techniques.
- This class will use charcoal drawing materials.

Travis Wilson
Travis Wilson moved to California to attend Watts Atelier at the beginning of 2018, studying with the Online Program before that. For the past five years he has worked towards his goal of teaching and working as a professional artist. On top of being a student and now a teacher, Travis also assists in running the behind the scenes of the Atelier. Finding much interest in design and sketching, Travis seeks to help others learn about how to bridge the gap between academics and creativity.
