Exploring Floral Motifs in Oil
Class | FULL
This class will focus on painting different floral motifs in oil. We will be painting from both photos and life. The main focus of this class will be upon how to identify flower patterns and understanding layering that is required to achieve the desired effect. Each week we will focus on a new arrangement. This class encompasses essential skills that an artist must know to paint still life and vegetation for fine art and illustration.
- The first week will be a demo, but students should bring their materials so they can paint along as well.
- This class will use oil painting materials.
For the best results in this class, consider using the Warm/Cool Primary palette to increase your color range. Zorn palette not recommended.
