Drawing from the masters is a timeless tradition in learning the ropes of art. Focus will be placed on drawing an image in charcoal. References of master paintings will be provided for students or your own study material is okay to use with instructor approval.  Works will be done with charcoal on newsprint with an emphasis in attempting to work the image up freehand or with a grid and without any direct tracing/transferring techniques.
