Drawing Dynamic Feet in Charcoal
Class | Registration opens 2/24/2025 9:00 AM PST
A mixture of working from hand outs, casts, master studies, and drawing from the live model using both long and short poses. We will start by studying the skeletal structure and muscles of the feet, to better understand how to simplify them. Students will be introduced to a variety of concepts such as mannequinization, edge mapping, idealization, and indication. Emphasis will be placed on capturing the action and weight of the foot.
- This class will use charcoal drawing materials.
