In this class we will be deconstructing paintings from the masters, learning what made them successful paintings. Students will gain a great deal of insight into how to problem solve when approaching their own work. It will help students to understand and identify the most important, and often overlooked, elements in picture making, the design and use of composition, value and color. Week one of the term will be a demonstration by the teacher.
