This class is a great introduction to the often perplexing subject of artistic anatomy. The class will focus on developing an in-depth understanding of the forms of the human body. We will work from George Bridgman’s Complete Guide to Drawing from Life. The class will stress musculature, insertions, and Bridgman’s “wedging” principles. This class will cover arms and legs. Frequent instructor demonstrations and critiques are routine. This class will focus on the torso front and back.
