A lively class for all levels. We will tackle the basics of picture-making while enjoying a variety of subjects. Learn how to move your oil paint and get more excitement from the painting process. Each student will go at their own pace, building on previous week's experiences. We will work from life: fresh flowers, fruits, and vegetables, along with metal patinas, textures, and themed set-ups. There will be frequent instructor demonstrations on composition, color, and application of paint. There will be a focus on deconstructing and painting different surface patinas in this class.
