The Watts Atelier Bootcamp offers classes that cover a wide range of concepts in drawing and painting. Students will have the opportunity to learn general drawing techniques for portraits and figures, as well as gain an understanding of the fundamentals of oil painting. Throughout the course, students will become familiar with the four essential oil painting palettes that they should master.

In addition to the technical aspects of drawing and painting, students will also explore an introduction to anatomy, which is vital for creating compelling figurative art. Gesture painting is another area of focus in the curriculum, which will help students to create dynamic and expressive artwork.

Furthermore, students will learn how to break down and study master artists in both painting and drawing. This will help them to understand the techniques and styles of great artists, and enable them to incorporate these elements into their own work. The course will also touch upon still life and landscape painting, providing students with a well-rounded education in the field of art.

It is our goal that you will come out of the bootcamp with an understanding of the traditional training methods used to create successful artwork.
