Drawing for ages 10-14

You will build on the fundamentals of measurement and shading to draw proportional faces. You will learn to translate what we observe into a realistic likeness. The class will include demos, techniques and exercises that support detailed looking and convincing rendering of light. These skills can be applied to anime, cartoon drawing, and realistic portraiture.

  • • Drawing paper (White and toned paper)
  • • Graphite pencils of varying hardness (2H - 8B)
