Cartoons can be silly, weird, or serious. They can show real life experiences or be completely made up. From character design to punchline, in this course we will explore the many fun aspects of cartooning!

Day 1- Character Design and Artist Study
Day 2- Story and Thumbnail Sketch
Day 3- Ink/Color

  • -Paper (if adding color to finished piece, use thicker paper)
  • -Practice paper (cheaper, sketchbook)
  • -Pencil
  • -Eraser
  • -Ruler
  • -Brush and Ink OR Fine Point Markers (Varying Sizes)
  • -Color Optional (markers, watercolor)
