Find, cut, take apart, and reassemble images and textures as we explore art-making through collage!

We'll practice seeing value (the relative lightness and darkness of a color) while using found objects or images to create beautiful compositions.

  • -Scissors
  • -Exacto Blade
  • -Cutting board/surface (self healing cutting mat, but cardboard will work)
  • -Glue (Quick-dry adhesive preferably, but most liquid glue/sticks would work)
  • -Paper (or other material to glue images/objects on)
  • -Old magazines or books with images
  • -Trinkets, bobbles, doodads, buttons, beads, etc. (optional)
  • -Hot glue gun (optional, if gluing heavier objects)
