Artists will learn the fundamentals of drawing through observation. We will explore value (highlights, mid-tones, and shadows) while experimenting with pen and charcoal to create bold drawings!

  • Drawing paper (White and toned gray/tan)
  • Graphite pencils of varying hardness (2H - 8B)
  • Kneaded eraser
  • Rubber eraser
  • Charcoal pencil
  • White charcoal pencil
  • Compressed charcoal stick
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Blending stump or paper towel
