Artists will learn the fundamentals of color theory through watercolor painting. We will create expressive paintings using salt and wax resists.

  • Required:
  • Watercolor set (includes at least yellow, red, and blue)
  • Watercolor paint brushes (a variety of sizes like square and round brushes)
  • Watercolor paper (student grade)
  • Sponge/paper towel
  • 2 cups for water
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Optional:
  • Artist tape
  • Sea salt
  • Wax crayon
  • Colored pencils
