Start with one session using traditional construction papers, acetate, and scissors to create and modify a series of illustrations. The next three class sessions will involve learning and using Affinity Designer to recreate and transform your illustrations on your iPad or laptop (Macintosh or Windows). Please be sure your iPad or laptop has Affinity Designer installed and the battery is fully charged prior to each session.

  • DF1 and DF2 or equivalent recommended
  • Please bring cutting tools (scissors) and low tack tape or glue to first class.
  • Paper and acetate will be supplied by instructor.
  • You will need to purchase and install Affinity Designer for your iPad or laptop. Please check with the Affinity website to verify Affinity Designer will work with your particular iPad or laptop.
  • If using an iPad, an Apple Pencil is recommended. If using a laptop, a pointing device other than the trackpad (such as a mouse or graphics tablet) is recommended.
