White sycamores bend and twist over burbling creek beds, Arizona woodpeckers cackle from the oaks, and Coues deer—a petite subspecies of white-tailed deer—forage in the thickets. We’ll spend a full day in this artist’s paradise sketching wildlife, plants, and the landscape. Easy walking, leisurely pace, with ample time to sketch! Carpooling will be an option.
