Experience the landscape firsthand in this four-session outdoor painting course taught by Studio Incamminati faculty member Gregory Blue. Held on four Saturdays in October at preserves managed by Natural Lands, the class will give students the opportunity to paint directly from nature while exploring composition, color, light, atmosphere, and the challenges of working en plein air.

Each session will take place at a different preserved landscape in southeastern Pennsylvania, offering students a variety of natural environments and subject matter. Through demonstrations, individual instruction, and sustained painting, students will develop their ability to observe, simplify, and translate the landscape into a compelling work of art.

Presented in partnership with Natural Lands, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and caring for open spaces throughout the region.

Note: There is a maximum of 10 participants due to the sensitive ecology of some of the locations.
