This 6 week online course is especially crafted for the students interested in portraiture and deals with the essential structural, anatomical and physiognomic characteristics of the human head and neck, including the planes of the head, the skeletal and muscular structures and the external forms.

During each class, we will prepare a portrait using a photo reference that I will provide. During the course of this demo, the students will draw along with me, practicing measuring techniques and a variety of drawing techniques that include graphite, charcoal and chalk, trois crayon technique, reduction technique with the goal to expand the technical and artistic knowledge of the participating students. The students will have access to the recorded Zoom session for the duration of a month after the end of the course.
