The presentation will cover the progression of Aneka's work, starting as an undergraduate student getting a BFA in painting and then the mixed media practices that she developed in graduate school, and how this experience helped Aneka form the approach to art making that she currently. She will discuss the ways her personal life experiences have affected her practice and continue to shape the way she makes work about women. Finally, she will discuss some of her accomplishments, and how winning The Bennett Prize has changed her career.
