Students develop an understanding of the step-by-step drawing process and technical skills required in drawing from life.
This course is divided into two units of study: Bargue linear copies and Cast. One focus of this class is to study proportions that are a major component of all drawing and painting. The better one is at this skill, the easier painting and drawing will be in a future.



Katya Held, a Studio Incamminati alumus and teaching fellow, has had her work displayed worldwide in galleries and exhibition halls including Newman Galleries in Philadelphia, the National Arts Club in New York, the League of Artists of Russia and the Baron Stiglitz Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
