Students are taught everything from preparing the paper to introducing the tools to creating the drawing.

The first week will be spent toning paper, becoming familiar with supplies, and experimenting with short poses on pastel paper. You may bring sheets of Canson Mi-Tientes or a pad of multicolored pastel paper for this.

Subsequent weeks will require toned paper (prepared in week 1) for longer studies. One sheet yields four 15”x19” pieces.

Discussion/demo will center on landmarks used, along with different hatch marks/types of line to build up values. Feel free to email any questions to: wendywagnerart@yahoo.com
