The July CNA day class will start on July 13th.  The class will meet Monday-Friday 10am and end no later than 3:00pm each day.  The classroom hours will finish by July 31st.  After the classroom hours students will need to complete clinical through the school or through a workplace. Please try to get your TB test turned in as soon as possible.  We will need that on file to get you scheduled for clinical.  Most clinical hours through the school will be completed in four 10-hour shifts in the 1-3 weeks after the classroom hours.  Most clinical will be Mon-Fri but we will offer limited weekend shifts as well.  If you have limited availability you will want to get your TB test turned in quickly so we can get you into the clinical that works best for you before it fills.

*CLINICAL through Work Place
You might be able to complete your clinical through your workplace if you are working in a facility.
To qualify you will need:
1. A current or pending NAR (Nursing Assistant Registered)
2. Be supervised by a LPN or RN that can check you off on your skills and the 40 hours of clinical training.
3. Complete the clinical paperwork and submit it back to the school after your CNA class has ended. You should be doing these hours around the same time as the scheduled clinical through the school.
4. We will also need a print out showing the hours you worked or a signed statement from your HR showing you worked at least 40 hours.

*CLINICAL through ProCare*  If you are not doing the clinical through your workplace you can do it through ProCare. You can add this clinical experience to your cart during checkout.  The added tuition cost would be $300. These hours will be completed a local clinical site.  We are planning clinical rotations after each class.  Some of these will be in the evening some will be in the morning/afternoon during the week, and some will be on the weekend.  Spots are limited so please let me know ASAP if you plan to do clinical through ProCare. You will need to fill out a background check and submit TB testing before you can sign up for a clinical session.  You will also need to pay your account in full before you can attend clinical.  Email: erik@procareacademy for more information and to get started on the background check.
